As an Emmy Award-winning Senior Director of Business Operations & Program Management, I worked alongside executive leadership teams helping to clarify vision, align operations to strategic goals, bring structure to complex initiatives, and move major ideas from concept to execution.
I was damn good at what I did.
I also had the multiple six-figure salary, flexibility, family, homes, side businesses, credibility, and a job that had once been my dream job.
And I still wanted more freedom. Then I got laid off.
Instead of immediately recreating the career I already knew, I used the runway in front of me to explore something I had wanted to do for years.
What I started to see was, how much God had already equipped me with through my experiences, my strengths, and the work I had been doing for years.
And what I had to realize was that those abilities didn’t belong to corporate…
